Ūla Marija Tornau wins the Competition for Cultural Attaché to the United Kingdom
The Ministry of Culture’s competition for the post of Cultural Attaché at the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was won by Dr Ūla Marija Tornau, who will be granted another term of office.
Out of the 11 participants in the competition, she received the highest number of points from the jury.
Since 2021, Dr Tornau has worked as the Cultural Attaché to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and from 2007 to 2021 she was Head of the Department of Exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Centre.
The successful candidate may take up their duties subject to a security clearance certificate issued in accordance with the procedure laid down by law and the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The term of office of the Cultural Attaché is three years.
