The Nordic Culture Point, an institution of the Nordic Council of Ministers has announced the deadlines of applying for the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture in 2022.

The culture mobility programme has been conducted since 2009 thanks to the initiative of the Nordic Council of Ministers and the ministries of culture of the republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In 2020, it was renewed for a three-year period.

The programme aims to encourage interest in the processes of art and culture in the Nordic and Baltic countries, to intensify professional mobility of artists and culture professionals, to strengthen the international cooperation and networking between art and culture organisations, to encourage development of platforms for joint international projects of art and to promote artist residences in the region. The programme provides financial support for three modules: artist mobility, cooperation networks, and artist residences. Moreover, as part of the programme, a pilot project of mentorship has been launched this year which aims to create better conditions for knowledge exchange and networking between the region’s artists.

On 25 January, at 2.30 p.m. (Lithuania time), an online seminar will be held during which the questions related to the application submission will be discussed in more detail and the pilot project of mentorship will be introduced. More information and registration.
