Ministry of Culture prize awarded to director Marija Kavtaradzė
The Ministry of Culture has given a prize in recognition of winning an important international award in the cultural field to director Marija Kavtaradzė and the creative team behind the film Slow (the Lithuanian title is Tu man nieko neprimeni).
The film earned an award for best directing in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition category at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in January of this year.
The film's director is also its screenwriter. Laurynas Bareiša is the director of photography. Sigita Šimkūnaitė is the production designer. Marija Razgutė is the producer.
The film's Lithuanian premiere will take place in September.
