Gabrielaitytė-Kazulėnienė was selected again to be the cultural attaché in Italy
The current cultural attaché in Italy, Laura Gabrielaitytė-Kazulėnienė, again won the Ministry of Culture's competitive selection process for the position. Of the nine candidates participating in the selection process, she earned the most points from the commission.
The winner will continue her activities, developing international cooperation in the cultural area, strengthening relationships between Lithuanian and Italian cultural organisations, initiating cultural exchanges, cooperation projects and presentations of Lithuanian artists in Italy, and creating the conditions for expanding the professional network of professionals working in the cultural area.
Gabrielaitytė-Kazulėnienė has earned a bachelor's degree in cultural history and anthropology as well as a master's degree in cultural heritage conservation, and studied art history at the University of Trieste. She led event projects at VšĮ Investuok Lietuvoje (Invest Lithuania), for many years was responsible for coordinating international projects at VšĮ Menų spaustuvė (Arts Printing House), participated in organising the festival Naujasis Baltijos šokis (New Baltic Dance), and worked with projects of the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania, the Oskaras Koršunovas Theatre, and the Embassy of Sweden to the Republic of Lithuania.
The length of the term of service of a cultural attaché is three years.
