World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)

Lithuania joined World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in 1992. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania is currently involved in three of the WIPO committees:

1. Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR)
2. Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC) (together with the State Patent Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania)
3. Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE) (main representative – the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, participating institutions – the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and the State Patent Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania)
