Mr. Mindaugas Kvietkauskas, Minister of Culture, expressed his joy in close cultural relations of the countries in the meeting with the Swedish ambassador, Mrs. Maria Christina Lundquist, and thanked the Swedish Government for the financial gift – special cooperation fund of Sweden and Lithuania.

Mr. Mindaugas Kvietkauskas, Minister of Culture, met the new Turkish ambassador, Mr. Gökhan Turan to discuss the cooperation perspectives in the area of culture.

The Chevalier’s Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland was granted to Mr. Mindaugas Kvietkauskas, Minister of Culture, in the Pac Palace in Vilnius, by the embassy of the Republic of Poland.

The Concept of the Culture Internationalization Policy, developed in the framework of the implementation of the action plan of the Government Programme of the Republic of Lithuania, defines the goal, objectives, implementation principles, the values generated by the internationalization of culture, and a model of integrated coordination with other policy fields.

From January 2019, grants are available from the Baltic Culture Fund for joint cultural projects between Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
