On 18 November, Minister of Culture Šarūnas Birutis met with Vice Minister of Culture of the People’s Republic of China Ding Wei. The Minister of Culture welcomed the fact that bilateral cultural cooperation had recently become more active and that a solid network of partners had been created.

This October and November two Lithuanian artists - Darius Mikšys and Darius Žiūra are participants in the artistic residencies of Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow (CCA). Both residencies come as a direct result of the research visit to Lithuania by the CCA director Francis McKee.
