The catalogue "Best Lithuanian Books for Children and Young Adults 2022-2023" was published

Lithuanian Section of The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) published catalogue of the "Best Lithuanian Books for Children and Young Adults in 2022-2023". The catalogue presents the most significant and notable books for children and young adults, created by Lithuanian authors and illustrators in 2021–2022: 15 picture books for the youngest readers, 11 books for children aged 6 and up, 2 books for teenagers and 7 non-fiction books. The books were selected for publication by the Lithuanian Section of The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY). The catalogue is published by the Lithuanian Culture Institute, which runs the recently renewed Translation Promotion Programme (The Translation Grant Programme).

The aim of the catalogue is to promote artistically valuable literature and to spread the word about the most valuable new children's publications by Lithuanian authors. Some of the authors represented have been awarded prizes, mentioned at this year's Bologna Children's Book Fair.
