Horizon 2020 – EU Research and Innovation funding programme (2014-2020)

Funding is available to research on European cultural heritage and creative expression, as well as on the diversity of European societies (under the priority Societal Challenges – Specific objective 'Europe in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective societies').

The priority Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) aims to increase the competitiveness of European creative industries by stimulating ICT innovation in Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), by effectively building up and expanding EU technological ecosystem for the creative industries' needs, and by fostering cooperation and exchanges between the creative industries' SMEs and providers of ICT innovative solutions.

The activity of National Contact Points is carried out by Research Council of Lithuania (LMT), Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA), Lithuanian Academy of Sciences (LMA) and Lithuanian Innovation Centre (LIC).

COSME – EU programme for Strengthening the Competitiveness and Sustainability of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Encouraging an Entrepreneurial Culture (2014-2020)

The support measures for SMEs can include actions to foster the development of clusters and business networks (Enterprise Europe Network); support for the first applications and market uptake of innovative products, processes and services; and actions linking and adding skills and competencies in the fields of design, creativity and manufacturing, as well as actions to accelerate the emergence of competitive industries based on cross-sectorial activities
