Rasa Rimickaitė Elected as Cultural Attaché in Poland for the Second Tenure

The current cultural attaché Rasa Rimickaitė has won a competition of the Ministry of Culture for the position of a cultural attaché at the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Lithuania in Poland. Ms Rimickaitė has received the highest number of scores from the commission. There were five applicants for the position.

The expert of culture and philologist Ms Rimickaitė has been working as a cultural attaché at the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Lithuania in Poland since 2012. She has taught history of Lithuanian culture, literature and art at the University of Warsaw.

The winner of the competition may take up the position after obtaining a Personnel Security Clearance Certificate issued in accordance with the procedure defined by laws and upon approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. The term of office of a cultural attaché is three years. The cultural attaché will start work in Poland on September 1.
